SXSW Music Conference, March 18-22

SXSW Music
The mother of all music conferences is just about three weeks away, and your friendly pals here at Music Fog will be wedging ourselves into the action. Here's a little preview of what we'll be bringing you...

Video. Tons of it. We're parking our Celebrity Coach outside of Threadgill's (South Austin) and Jessie Scott will have the usual parade of artists stop by for intimate performances (some open to the public from the Threadgill's indoor stage). The vids will be posted here; you can also subscribe to our YouTube channel for automatic updates.

Twitter. For all intents and purposes, SXSW introduced Twitter to the world a few years back. We'll be using it (among other things) to randomly invite fans to our bus to watch performances, so if you'd like to be a part of that, you can follow us here: @MusicFog.

Blogging. Yup...prepare for more creepy posts and out-of-control diatribes on the Music Fog blog. That's how we roll folks!

On another note, I'm working on adding a list of events that we've covered to the left column of this blog. That way you'll actually be able to sort through our content by event, without having to click back through 10-plus pages of stuff. I should have figured this out months ago. Just call me Ol' Fruit Fly Brain.

-Ben Krech

[Update: Thanks to my buddy Steve Mays for figuring out the "event list" mystery.]
