Denise McLemore
Denise is the Business Manager at Music Fog. She deftly juggles the many logistical challenges, some exotic and some humdrum, that keep the Music Fog wheels rolling.
Denise McLemore’s career spans 13 years of talent management and casting. She began in 1990 by forming Liaison Management, an independent scouting company promoting talent to fashion and commercial booking agents in New York City, Paris, Milan, London, Tokyo, Sydney and Madrid. Her models and actors worked for esteemed clients, including Armani, Gianfranco Ferre’, Calvin Klein, Boss, Yohji Yamamoto, French Elle, Madmoiselle, and Italian Vogue.
In 1995, McLemore joined with Ted Bose to form Acclaim Partners, the only SAG-franchised talent agency in the Central Texas region, providing marketing, public relations and managerial services to a client base of 250 actors and models. Within two years, Acclaim Partners opened a second office in Los Angeles to expand opportunities for Texas-based talent. Their clients secured assignments in over 300 national and regional commercials, 35 independent and feature films, numerous video game and radio voiceovers, music videos, and international fashion magazines published in ten countries.
In 2001, McLemore moved into the casting field when she became part of Donise Hardy’s firm, Casting Works, LA. For two years, she used her keen eye for sourcing and finding talent in all categories of production. For the next 6 years, she traveled, first moving to Brussels, Belgium, and then visiting European, Southeast Asian and African nations. She absorbed the various cultures, languages, art, philosophies and music, and found common ground in the shared enthusiasm for Americana music around the world, which has now become her cause célèbre; to further grow this musical genre with an avid global audience.
Upon returning to the US, Denise found the perfect opportunity to combine her love of Americana music with her impressive background in on-camera talent scouting and management by joining the Music Fog team.
