Black Tie & Boots

Texas State Society
Jessie, Beans and I all made it home alive from Steamboat after wrapping up our first event: MusicFest. As always, it was an absolute blast with some of the best live music in the world. We have posted quite a few videos to our MusicFest Live blog, and we'll be adding more in the days to come.

Now what? Well...Music Fog is taking the crew to DC to provide coverage of The Texas State Society's "Black Tie & Boots Inaugural Ball." The event will be held January 19th at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center in Washington. This is going to be a great event, as it looks like they've nailed the artist line-up. From their website on December 8th:

"...Texas State Society today announced that Neal McCoy, Bob Wills and His Texas Playboys, Rick Trevino and Zona Jones would also be playing at the quadrennial event.

The artists join a Texas star-studded lineup that includes: Tracy Byrd, Jack Ingram, Cross Canadian Ragweed, Kevin Fowler, Dale Watson, Asleep at the Wheel, Kelly Willis, Bruce Robison, Emory Quinn, Charlie Robison and Sunny Sweeney."

We'll be recording as much content from this event as possible and posting it right here on the Music Fog blog.

Uh, Guys & Gal........I'm sure the folks at the BT&Bs made that announcement, but if Ol' Bob really does show up with The Playboys......................it could get ugly.Steamboat was fun!
